Scientific Challenges & Business Opportunities in Sustainable Environments and Education (SciBO-SEED).
The workshop intends to address the topics relevant to the BIS 2026 conference, with a particular focus on sustainable business practices supported by education, training, and knowledge development systems. The general theme builds on the Scientific Challenges & Business Opportunities in Sustainable Environmental Management (SciBO-SEM) edition at BIS 2025, which focused on sustainable environmental management and the evolution of integrative, information-intensive approaches in business information systems.
Aligned with the BIS 2026 conference theme “From Hype to Impact: Turning AI into Real Business Value”, this workshop invites contributions that explore novel frameworks, systems, and practices through which knowledge-driven approaches can enhance sustainability outcomes across businesses and institutions, supporting decision-makers in turning insights into impactful, responsible action.
