Educational robotics has grown significantly due to the increasing availability of affordable, ageappropriate kits and the expansion of pre-university competitions. This workshop brings together teachers, mentors, and students from schools, clubs, community centers, and formal and informal educational institutions to discuss experiences and current practices in educational robotics. As robotics becomes more integrated into classrooms as a tool for teaching subjects such as programming, mathematics, physics, electricity, and mechanics, the workshop provides a forum to share relevant projects, address technical challenges across diverse learning environments, and reflect on the broader impact of robotics in education.

Submission Guidelines

Papers to WEROB can be submitted by EasyChair. The paper size can be from a single page (extended abstract) to a maximum of 6 pages, containing text, figures, tables, references, acknowledgments, etc. All submitted papers must be in PDF, written in English, in a single column and following the template as in:

• Overleaf / Latex template
• Word / Google Docs template

All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed and evaluated by members of the program committee. Final submission should be minimum 3 pages and maximum 6 pages. Accepted papers and their presentations will be published on the RoboCupJunior website under the resources tab – Workshop on Educational Robotics.

Types of Presentations

• Mentor/teacher presentation of their research and/or practice (20 min)
• Students/team presentation of their accomplishment (showcase, 15 min)
• Hands-on workshop to introduce or teach new robotics ideas/tools (1 hr)
